MobBase is a turnkey app service for bands. With attractive designs and features, it makes having an official band app accessible to the independent musician. The $5/month option is a mobile web app similar to Bandapp (but Bandapp is free). The “real” app options are priced at $20/mo. for Android and iTunes (plus a sizeable $250 setup fee for iOS apps). It’s expensive, but nowhere near what you’d pay to have developers create your band’s app from scratch. We like Bandapp’s free mobile app vs. paying $5/mo. for MobBase, but if you want a “real” app, they’re one of the few accessible options out there.
