BandApp allows you to build a mobile app for free… sort of. Users point fans to their app with QR codes and links. The app is wrapped into a discovery platform, so you can find music from other BandApp users. It has been variably referred to as “hell-bent on becoming the mobile replacement for MySpace” and “like WordPress for music mobile apps”. If you’re a band that wants a mobile app but can’t afford the real deal, Bandapp is a great option.
