Splitgigs
SplitGigs is based on a simple idea that’s familiar to most touring musicians: the show trade. One of the fundamentals of independent booking is trading shows with other bands, usually by sharing a slot on your band’s local or regional gigs. It’s something that happens in real space all the time, so SplitGigs designed a slick user interface so bands could do it online. You can find gigs by geograpy, date and genre. The site is very well though out and though the community is small and mostly European, the site has huge potential if it can attract more bands and venues as users.
